What is a Crèche?

Simply put, a crèche, or Christmas crèche, is a nativity, or a Nativity scene representing Jesus Christ's birth.

Crèche comes from the French word for crib.

For the purposes of the exhibit we display anything that is related to the Christmas Story.

Each year we also focus on something related to Christmas and the Christmas Story and display items related to that the special feature; such as angels, or wreaths, or the Star of Bethlehem.

This year our feature is Advent Calendars.
