Elko's Own

Robin Eardley, Dixie Hessing and Gail Mierins met in the fall of 2009, while participating in a local production of "The Wizard of Oz." They began singing together in 2010 at the invitation of the California Interpretive Trail Center.  They quickly determined that they had something unique and began finding reasons to sing together.

They have entertained around Elko, singing at several local churches, and sharing their sound at many charitable and civic events.  They recorded patriotic songs that were played at the 4th of July fireworks show, delivered singing telegrams for Valentines Day and have sung on the radio promoting local arts activities.  They are currently involved with the annual production of "The Forgotten Carols" and each are returning soloists for the Community Messiah Sing-Along.

Robin was born and raised in Lander, Wyoming, Dixie is from St. Anthony, Idaho and Gail was born in Boise, Idaho but claims Central New Hampshire as her home.

Each of them has a unique approach to music, and together they have An Uncommon Bond.
